Recently, I have been thinking about the old sprite magazine that I used to help out, made by Warlin. And then I realized how bored I am. Though I have quite a few collaborative comic projects, none of them seem to be moving along at all, and this means I don’t have much to do besides homework and working on my own sprite comics that I do by myself. So, due to these factors, I decided to send Warlin a P.M. about starting up another sprite magazine. Warlin said he would like to try again at making a sprite magazine, so this time, Warlin and I will be working on a sprite magazine together.
The magazine, this time around, will be more well thought out, and will include the following features:
Interviews of sprite authors, sprite comic reviews, A section for anonymous opinions on other people’s comics (Only constructive and positive opinions will be accepted, opinions that simply flame other comics won’t be considered), a spotlight section for excellent spriters who deserve recognition, and a section for a sprite showcase. In the sprite showcase section, people send in sprites they have edited, or made custom, to be looked at and rated in the magazine.
We will be gathering together a team of people to work on the magazine, some people to interview spriters and review comics, some people to look over sent in opinions to make sure they are not nasty, and some people to help out with magazine layouts and covers.
The magazine will be named Pixel Pages, and will be hosted by DavynD on his forum, GAMES PLZ. We will also have a "comic" on Smackjeeves that will notify people when we release issues, or when we have other news about the magazine.
For now, we will have no set date for the first issue to be released. It will be released once it’s done, and we don’t know how long that will take. Before we start on the Magazine, however, we shall hold auditions for the following jobs in the magazine:
Reviewers and Interviewers. Reviewers will be asked to review comics that are sent in by readers, and will pass out fair judgement, and will make sure not to be biased. Interviewers will interview spriters who are willing to be interviewed. As many as 5 of these.
Editorial Manager. The editorial manager will be in charge of looking over the anonymous opinions sent in, and will make sure that they are fair, and are not simply flaming. Up to 2 of these.
Graphics and Layout. These people will help to make the magazine look nice. They will make the magazine covers for each issue, and will layout the pages for each section. 1-3 of these.
Public Speaker. The public speaker will announce updates about the Magazine, give updates on conditions, and post help wanted signs if someone has to leave the team for any reason, and the spot needs to be filled. There will only be 1 of these.
If interested, people will be asked to fill out this form:
Smackjeeves Username: (Your username on Smackjeeves. Pretty easy.)
Experience with Spriting: (How long you’ve been a spriter. If you aren’t a spriter, but are still interested in working with us on the magazine, write N/A.

Reason: (Explain to us the reason you would like to be a part of the team, and also give reasons as to why you should be accepted. In this part, you are allowed to post links and quotes to help show us that you should be a member of the team.)
Thank you to those of you who are interested in reading, and to those of you interested in assisting in making the magazine. We appreciate your interest.
Sincerely,
Hunterkirizaki and Warlin
